The tournament I played was the $3,000 Pot Limit Omaha 6-max. It had a pretty deep structure and the competition was quite soft. For a long time it played like a cash game as we were over 100 big blinds and there were no antes.
It drew around 600 players and some familiar faces like Johnny Lodden, Jeff Gross, Marcel Luske, Jason Mercier, Chino Rheem and PLO beasts Henri "I_MR_U_Bean" Koivisto and Joey Ingram. Huge congrats to John Beauprez who ran pretty deep.
It was pretty fun to see all these players under the same roof and even though I didn't manage to cash, I had a good time playing and warming up for the $10k PLO event starting on Wednesday.
Special thanks and shout out to all the guys that were kind enough to spend time talking with me during the tournament breaks. Hope you guys also enjoyed my first WSOP experience and let me know if you want any specific questions answered by some of these players. I will try to get them on the camera for you guys.
I already met with some other guys in the last couple of days and put together a small stakes PLO game that eventually degened its way into 5-card PLO. I am pretty sure that there was a flop in 100% of hands. I livestreamed part of it on my Facebook page and expect more vlogs soon.
